    This restaurant is what you would expect when dining off Worth Ave in Palm Beach. Really nice atmosphere and okay food. I ordered the Carpaccio Di Manzo for an appetizer and the Ravioli alla Caprese which were both decent dishes. Certainly not enough food if you have a decent appetite. We struggled to find a bottle of wine that was price appropriately and the wait staff was not to helpful in selecting a wine to our taste. If you're a guy reading this most of the men in the restaurant were wearing sports coats. Worth checking out, but not the best Italian in town.

    Most romantic restaurant in Palm Beach. The food is secondary to the ambience but it is good if you know the menu. Stick with the pasta and Italian specialities. Expensive, but only place off Worth Avenue to take a date.

    I was very annoyed that they gave me a tight table in the back room. When one of my guests asked for another table we were told that it was the only one. I certainly made the reservation far enough in advance for a proper size table for our group. The food was fair and atmosphere noisy. I don't recommend this rest in palm beach. There are many other better ones with nicer staff!!!

    The best Italian restaurant that we've been to in Florida. We stumbled upon this gem after having worked up an appetite shopping on Worth Avenue about a year ago and were pleasantly surprised to find ourselves completely satisfied with every single aspect of our dining experience. Given it's an hour trek for us, it took us a year to return to the area for a shop and dine. I'm pleased to say there is little, if anything, not to like about this restaurant. Folks, there are all types of Italian restaurants and most have no clue and range from bad to ok, others try and are ok to good, and then there are those that are truly great. Renalto's is one of the truly great ones and shopping or not, we shall return. It becomes apparent when dining at this establishment that they possess a winning combination of a great menu selection, great management, cook, kitchen and wait staff, and that they use fresh ingredients. The restaurant itself has a homey look and feel to it. The food, selection and service are nothing short of outstanding. There's a valet parking on Worth Avenue, however, you can find roadside parking and it's free after 6:00 pm. This place doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and is nestled among other shops and restaurants and is well worth finding. This is mid to upper scale, casual to dressy attire dining. You can dine in or beneath the stars, weather permitting. If you live in South Florida or are visiting, haven't tried Renalto's and are fond of a truly great and memorable Italian dining experiences, skip that and try this. This is not a small restaurant but it's not ginormous either, so calling ahead might not be a bad idea, especially during prime time on a Friday or Saturday night or in season. I also recommend you check out the menu on line. This is not a place where you have to strain the brain to find familiar and favorites on the menu. The only thing missing here is water in the courtyard fountain, which apparently needs a fix. If you need another reason to dine here there's plenty of eye popping, cars, jewelry stores, people and shopping within walking distance.

    Very attractive place but food was average at best and service alternated between rushed and leisurely. Not worth the price. Avoid the veal chop... tough and tasteless.

    What Happened to Renato's? Went on a very busy Friday night. The Foie GRAS was tiny ....maybe 3 bites. The Parparadell pasta way inedible. What Happened?

    Underwhelming. Charming location was the best part- we sat out on the patio, but it started to rain, so they had to shuffle the guests to other tables. The staff-to-patron ratio was way off - I think at least 4 or 5 different servers came to our table to wait on us. We felt hurried and anxious about their constant presence. The food was forgettable - unimaginative menu and small portions. Overpriced - even with their Flavor month prix fixe menu that we tried.

    The atmosphere at Renato's is perfect for a romantic evening on the Island. The food is wonderful and the staff extremely nice and efficient. I love to go there! It's always a ticket to a surely excellent evening!

    I really love the food and service here but its very old-world Palm Beach... Its only of those Old Money very uppity places.. Don't get me wrong I grew up in Palm Beach so I am used to it but it is very stuffy.. Everytime I come here with someone I feel like I am there hired company for the night everyone stares at me.. So dress conservative... lol.. But the food is great I love the Risotto and they have amazing deserts and the service is outstanding... There is always a wait here even with reservations.... But if you want a great meal with attention to detail you gotta try it....

    In town for a few days and grabbed dinner at Renatos. Service was excellent, wine was top notch, and Bolognese was fantastic. Plan on spending $100 - $125 for a 2 top. Great old school Palm Beach feel and the courtyard was solid.. A mile walk to the Breakers (beach), $10 cab ride.

    If you have a child or someone dining with you that has a deadly allergy (in this case nuts) don't go to Renatos's, Palm Beach. After specifically that my granddaughter has a deadly nut allergy, and asking if the were any nuts in the lava cake, and being told none, the dessert was served to a 12 year old covered with a Heath Bar. When we protested to the Maitre d', he arrogantly said how were they to know such information. This restaurant needs new management who care about anything other than gratuities. Someone will be killed or badly hurt before this restaurant owner gets the message.

    Our meals were spectacular, ranging from pasta to prosciutto wrapped, stuffed chicken breast to tasty scallops. The deserts were all delicious. No complaints. The staff was quintessential Palm Beach - well trained, groomed and well mannered. Nice to see black tie/tux clad servers for a change with their crumbers. However, this restaurant was a bit too cozy for my taste. But the coziness was interfered by windows on all 3 sides of the tiny building. And the decor looked like Greenwich Country Club from the 1980s. Something was off but appealing at the same time. Hey, it's off Worth Ave. Nonetheless, we enjoyed our dinner for 5 and recommend this restaurant.

    I came here for a three course business dinner, and received excellent service. This is definitely one of the better fine dining options on Palm Beach Island. I enjoyed the food and the romantic ambience (which incidentally worked for our large corporate group of 24). Unlike a previous reviewer, I did not find Renato's to feel stuffy at all. The Italian entrees at Renato's are definitely above average. Everything that I had (caprese salad, butternut squash ravioli, white chocolate mousse) was very flavorful, delicious, and elegantly plated.

    We went here for my spouses birthday. Wanted to go here because it was rated very highly but I have no idea how. ONLY good thing about this place is the service. Which is amazing. They are always asking if you want more bread or drinks or how everything is. Now the food on the other hand. Completely awful. I think I truly could of gotten better at Olive Garden. I got the Ravoli alla Caprese and it tasted like something from a lean cuisine box. Very expensive food from a box . Spouse got via chop which is like 45 dollars. And he was like eh. You don't say EH about a 45 dollar dish!!!! So now if your thinking well I don't wanna go there now.... U can. Just go for drinks!! The drinks were good and they have s cute romantic outdoor seating but just don't get the AWFUL food. Very highly dissatisfied with a high class restaurant like this one.

    Had dinner here last night. Delicious ! Specials were great (grouper in thick tomato broth) and the wine list is good. Thanks to YELP for highlighting this restaurant. There is a good variety of seating - two beautiful indoor dining areas and an outdoor group of tables by the fountain. Service was good and helpful. There's a nice mix of northern and southern italian fare Expect to pay about $140 for two perhaps more if you get expensive wine.

    The bartenders here are Top notch A+ masters of their craft. Debbie and Scott served up not just incredible craft cocktails, but humor, knowledge, and incredible suggestions. We came in for a quick drink and enjoyed the service and drinks so much, all of a sudden we'd been there for 3. As a newbie to Palm Beach, I was not only given an incredibly hospitable welcome, but I enjoyed the first craft cocktails I've found on the island. Probably no surprise here, but the Palm Beach regulars tend to prefer a really classic cocktail, and there's not a lot of experimentation at most places. At Renato's, those classics were served with quality liquors and mixers. None of that bottled grenadine - they make their own, in addition to infusing bitters, tweaking garnishes, and serving them up with genius. I'll be back. A lot. Especially if these two crackerjack gourmands are tending bar. Can't get enough.

    I would give Renato's 3.5 stars if possible. The ambiance and al fresco dining are the best part of the restaurant, the service was what would be expected at a restaurant of this price and the food is not the best Italian I've had in Palm Beach or South Florida, but is, again, what one would expect. Hence, the A-OK bordering on I'm a fan review. It's definitely pricey (salads and starters are anywhere from $15-$30 and entrees are anywhere from $25-$50ish) but being able to sit al fresco made it worth it for my husband and I. Small details that I would have expected to make the service 4 instead of 3 stars, such as spots on all of our water glasses and our wine being served in the wrong type of glass, are easily corrected. The staff seemed knowledgable and well-trained but seemed to be on autopilot instead of making the dining experience unique. I would go back but would warn others who read reviews like I did prior to dining not to expect a six star experience as other reviewers have written.

    Beautiful walk to the restaurant through the a colonial labyrinth, first time there and couldn't find the place! I really enjoyed to european country decor has a very homey feel to it. The food was ok. Maybe if I had ordered something different I might have scored higher but, nothing really impressed me. They had a special of Grilled Polenta with mushrooms which I had a very different picture in my head of what it could be. The Fruti Di Mare was seafood salad which was excellent, didn't feel to fresh but good. Plus + Plus to the Gnocchis, the sauce and the texture were incredible. Desert: Molten Chocolate Cake, tasted so so. More like Betty Crocker bought! Suggestions go straight for the Pasta, they really aren't strong in appetizers or deserts. Awesome Service.

    Really wasn't impressed. The prices made me think I was in for an amazing dining experience. While the staff was very, very friendly and professional, the food was overwhelmingly mediocre. I had a seafood (shellfish) appetizer and the lump crab was very briny and so was the shrimp. The mustard sauce was basically mayo. My ravioli was $38.00 and was below average. Our dessert was good, but when is dessert every horrible?

    Old Palm Beach crowd. Lots of face-lifts and silicone lips on 70+ locals. Quite a spectacle. Food was unimpressive. First course I had stuffed calamari that was overcooked and tough. Second I ordered risotto with pulled duck, blue berries and Gorgonzola. I had to send it back. I like Gorgonzola but it was overpowering in this dish. Had the veal instead which they brought to me in two minutes (impressive). It was good but nothing to go back for. We were four aged 47 to 66 and all agreed it was not worth the money or a return trip.

    Delicious food. Very pricey but worth every penny and romantic. Good for lunch or dinner. Outside seating is available and just fabulous and romantic. The atmosphere definitely sets the mood. It's located in Via Mizner East and has adorable seating and umbrellas. Every meal I've had here has made a lasting impression. The salmon is great. Also an amazing list of drinks. They also have a little window to order food to go around the corner(If you're on the go or too casual to be seated)They make an awesome burger on an English muffin.

    I adore Renato's. I was treated to dinner by my parents. This was my second visit. The first visit was several years ago and I've been thinking of the gnocchi ever since. Tonight they did not have gnocchi on the menu (they vary the menu each night or week, according to my folks) but neither did they disappoint. I had an amazing dish of pappardelle with a veal and mushroom ragut and shaved pamagiano. For an appetizer: pan seared scallops on a bed of polenta (the cake-like kind, not the cream-of-wheat kind) with a red pepper sauce. My folks each started off with prosciutto and perfectly ripe cantaloupe. My mom had pompano (a lovely fresh-water fish) with a lemon butter caper sauce and my dad had a veal piccata. All tasted awesome. I was the only dessert eater in the bunch and enjoyed chocolate gelato. Though the food is pricey, the portions are surprisingly large. And the ambience...Oh, the ambience!...it is divine: Al fesco (outdoor) dining that is so pretty and romantic (can I say it was romantic even though I was with my parents? Ha!) esconced in the warm, somewhat humid Palm Beach evening air makes for a perfect meal. Now every time I visit my folks, I tell my mom to make a rez at Renato's.

    Spectacularly beautiful courtyard dining. Excellent food, over four meals I've had soups, salads, fish and meat courses, all were perfectly cooked, not over seasoned and made excellent use of fresh ingredients. I particularly liked my fish entrées. Very good wine list with great choices at a moderate (for a high end restaurant) price points. To be clear - you will not find pork belly or "foam" on this menu, it's more traditional, thankfully so. Also, portions are not jewel sized, but you will not need a doggie bag. Just right! What makes this restaurant really special is the staff of professionals running it. Although we are only visiting, we were remembered by name and the service was outstanding. If you have anything less than a great experience here, save up for psychotherapy.

    This was my third stop on a sunday evening cocktail crawl. You can get some good drinks in the bars around here but was most impressed with the bar at Renatos. The cocktail menu has simple stuff people expect and complex stuff you won't see anywhere else. The bartenders Debbie and Scott were very knowledgeable about what new things are happening in the craft cocktail world, they are true professionals. Was impressed with the burnt peel garnish on my first cocktail so I stayed for another. The second cocktail was the Barefoot Mailman. Scott infuses some local history with coconut milk, nutmeg, a sugar cane stick, and some other stuff. Ended up having two of them. I've never eaten here but the food looked and smelled great!

    This is a six star restaurant. Is that a thing? Maybe seven. Why, you ask? Because it has to be. Located off Worth Ave in the heart of Palm Beach, if it didn't cater to your every whim in impeccable fashion, rest assured every Palm Beach trillionaire with a plastic wife, Aston Martin and a pink sweater draped over his shoulders would be in a huff about it. They probably wouldn't complain...but they'd have their head butler call and do it for them, post-haste. From the time you walk in, you are treated like royalty. The impeccably dressed host escorts you to a finely appointed table as the waitstaff descends to fulfill your every (nonsexual) desire while remaining appropriately unobtrusive. We sat in the courtyard surrounded by climbing Bougainvillea, soothed by the sound of the fountain, sipping pre-dinner cocktails. You aren't rushed- after a drink and complimentary fresh breads and crostini, you are free to order dinner when you please. I had the seared scallop appetizer to start. I have lived in NYC for three years now and have cried myself to sleep every night lamenting the lack of good scallops. Turns out I *only* had to fly 1300 miles south. The scallops were exquisite. The grouper entrée was even better. The dessert was just obscene. It made me want to use foul language in front of a child or elderly woman. Tiramisu, 30 year port, the perfect cappuccino. This was the best meal I've had in years without hesitation. Now reality sets in. The best meal in years...for four people (not even obese people, mind you)...was close to 600 dollars with tip. Again, remember where you are, the ambience, the quality of the food, the competence of the staff. What did you expect? This is Palm Beach big boy stuff. Break out the white loafers, wedge your silicone boobies up and out, call the driver up to the main house and get yourselves to Renato's. It's worth it.

    It is unfortunate when something as simple as a singular rude server (in this case the female "Captain") can scuttle an otherwise enjoyable lunch. In addition to being rude and abrupt while table side she insisted on barking commands at her co-workers and dished out abrupt service to other diners in this peaceful and beautiful setting. I had returned to Renato's for the environment. The food is decent (7/10) while expensive. This is what I expect from Renato's and Palm Beach. I did NOT expect to have my peaceful and romantic $160 (before tip) soup and salads with nice wine to be trashed by the "Captain" who was in a bad mood- yes...I inquired about her to another server who said normally she is not like this but today she was in a bad mood. I am a fellow food service professional trained at top hotels and michelin 3-star restaurants in France. I have never seen anything like this. I am reluctant to leave such a review but feel the dining public as well as Renato's owners need to know.
